Darren is a mixer, producer and recording engineer based in London. After moving from Glasgow to London in 2005 he quickly began to assist at Metropolis studios before moving on to train under Alan Moulder & Flood at the renowned Assault & Battery studios. With mix and engineering credits under his belt from artists such as Spiritualized, White Lies, Editors, Wolfmother and Ben Howard, Darren is an experienced pair of hands (and ears) for all mixing and recording projects.
Darren has recently been continuing to mix records for rising stars Alfie Templeman, Wooze, Girl Scout, Pixey and Vlure. He also mixed the latest Glasvegas record ‘Godspeed’, the critically acclaimed Spiritualized albums ‘And Nothing Hurt’, ‘Everything was Beautiful’ and engineered the latest White Lies album ‘As I Try Not To fall Apart’.
Apart from being well versed in the arts of mixing and engineering, Darren is excited to branch out into production and writing with new artists.
